The nevada® glass brick has become a design icon. This extra-clear square glass block molded in one piece was created by the compagnie de saint-gobain in 1928. Used in 1929 by le corbusier, pierre jeanneret and charlotte perriand for their stand at the salon d'automne on "interior equipment of a home", nevada® bricks established themselves as a recurring, even emblematic device of modern architecture. Pierre chareau promoted them with his glass house inaugurated in 1931 in paris. In perfect condition. Nevada stamped on the side. Dimensions: 20 X 20 X 3.2 cm • careful shipping or hand delivery free of charge possible in paris.
