Japanese Shoji lamp in light wood and Washi paper, Japan 1970s.

Japanese Shoji lamp in light wood and Washi paper, 1970s. Height: 59 cm. Length: 19 cm. Width: 19 cm. A table lamp that diffuses a soft and delicate light thanks to its Washi paper panels. The plant fibers that make up the paper are visible, especially when the lamp is lit. Overall good condition. Some micro scratches on the wood and small spots/stains on the paper. These are very subtle, almost not visible at all, especially in context.
