Rattan basket/tray/coin tray with a collection butterfly.

Vintage bamboo and glass butterfly tray basket – 1970s. Beautiful decorative vintage basket/tray from the 1970s made of bamboo and woven rattan. Its main feature lies in its base: a stunning real taxidermy butterfly with delicate plant inclusions, all perfectly protected under a glass medallion. In excellent vintage condition, particularly rare for its age. The bamboo weaving is impeccable (no breaks or missing parts), the two movable bent wood handles work perfectly, and the central decoration under glass is completely intact and vibrant. Perfect as a catch-all in an entrance, an elegant fruit basket, or simply displayed on a piece of furniture. Diameter ~30 cm. Carefully packaged and ultra-protected (bubble wrap and rigid cardboard) to preserve the glass and bamboo.
