Comfort and aesthetics were the goal of furniture manufacturers in the 1950s! So much so that the French company Free Span and its engineers patented their unmatched spring creations! Unveiled in 1952 under the name FS-116 armchair, it features a light varnished wood structure, curved compass legs, metal spring seat and backrest, and an 80s green fabric covering.
