Rattan Armchair XL - mid century modern - japandi - very rare model

This special vintage rattan armchair is a real eye-catcher. The generous size, high backrest and distinctive design give the chair an impressive appearance that is hard to find in many rattan armchairs. The design is clearly intended to not only provide comfort but also to serve as a strong presence in any interior as a standalone piece of furniture. The high backrest stands out visibly. The vertical rattan rods rise from the seat and follow the graceful, slightly outwardly curved line of the back. Consequently, a characteristic arch is formed at the top, while various horizontal connections provide beautiful rhythm in the design. Notably, the protruding points on either side of the back give the armchair its recognizable and almost sculptural silhouette. The armrests are also elegantly shaped. The curved rattan construction runs from the back to the front, forming broad, open armrests that give the chair a light character.
