Brass art deco lamp with putti

This stunning lamp features a cherub with ornate details in brass. The tall cherub is draped in fabric and poses on acanthus leaves one of which come up from the base to the hand. The details are really beautiful. I have not polished or disturbed the original patina except for a light cleaning. It's a large lamp and needs ample space for display. The cherub portion of the lamp does appear to be solid brass. The base and the shaft are obviously made from different materials than the cherub and appear to be brass plated. The plating on the base has rust and tarnish spots that may or may not come off. The lamp comes with an attached harp but the top of the harp is bent and causes the shade to sit crooked. I would suggest a new harp. The finial is a simple cap. The shade is optional and will cost more to ship with the shade but I will include it just for the extra shipping if wanted. The shade is not original to the lamp and is not included in the shipping price quoted in this listing. The wooden base in the photo is only there for display and is not included with the lamp. The entire lamp including the harp and finial measures 28 3/4" tall, 20 3/4" without the harp. The cherub from foot to head is 9 1/2" tall and 4 1/2" wide. The base is 5 7/8" diameter from the bottom.
