Otto Prutscher for Thonet No. 846 and 847F circa 1930 - leather saddle -

Sold individually, please send a message. 3 A 846 chairs and 2 Aa 847 f armchairs by Thonet circa 1925. This Thonet Czechoslovakia production is very rare and features a beautiful Art Deco design. The page of armchairs 837, 845, 846, 847, 847f 848 f and 837 is commonly attributed to Otto Prutscher (see attached catalog of Thonet 1930 and Thonet-Mundus of 1928). The pieces from this period are confusing between chair and armchair, if the Thonet nomenclature includes the letter F, it is an armchair. We are here in front of chairs and armchairs! Extremely comfortable seating position. The five pieces are upholstered in genuine cream-white leather, already patinated and in perfect condition. The attached photos of the construction details help perfectly to identify the period. Label present under each seat. The five pieces from the same "house" are obviously from the same order from the 1930s.
