Mullca 300 children's chair by Jacques Hitier – Design 1949

Original edition of the "Mullca 300" school chair, designed by Jacques Hitier in 1949 for French school furniture. This model, intended for children aged 2 to 8, has become emblematic of utilitarian design in the 1950s. It combines a painted tubular metal frame (previously repainted green) with a molded plywood seat. The green paint has a uniform patina, with chips and traces of oxidation testifying to its prolonged use. The seat has been restored. See photos.
