Beef eye clock, blackened wood encrusted with mother-of-pearl

Very nice 19th century beef eye clock. Blackened wooden chest encrusted with mother-of-pearl. (slightly damaged on the top) White lacquered metal dial. Glass intact. Loop on top for wall hanger. The original movement was replaced (at one time) by a quartz (battery)-based movement. The clock works perfectly and there is now no need to put it back together every day. You can see in the photos the new mechanism as well as the various marks of time. Very beautiful clock that has kept all the charm of the past despite the replacement of its mechanism.
