Pair of empire tête d'aigle sconces in palmettes. Two fires and one fire. Bronze. Early twentieth century (circa 1900-1920) France. Palmettes and arms of light in patinated gilded bronze. Central bronze medallion painted black. Lower part of palmette-decorated bobèches. Fake candles tinted cardboard cream. (the candle of the wall lamp a fire is darker in color) Original wooden bulb holders: the small brown scratches are used to stabilize the fake candles (see photos) The textile sheathed wiring, perfectly functional, is period. Base for e14 screw bulbs, not included. Height: 20.5 cm. Width: 18 cm (two lights ) Depth: 12 cm. Central medallion diameter: 6 cm. Palmettes: 7 cm X 5 cm. Weight: 760 gr. Very good condition of the whole (some tiny traces of age: see photos) - beautiful patina. Protected shipping, tracked and insured via colissimo or mondial relay (for eligible countries).
