Beautiful ashtray / vide poche from Italy from the 1970s. Designed by Cesare Toso / Fratelli Toso in the 1970s. Diamond/prism shape. The ashtray is made of alexandrite/neodymium glass. This means that a substance has been added to the glass that absorbs yellow light. In daylight or normal lighting, the object appears lilac/pink, while in cold light (e.g., fluorescent tubes and similar) the object appears violet to light blue. 5 cm high. 15.5 cm diameter.
