Adjustable desk lamp retro vintage French red black silver & wood effect 3631

A retro vintage French table lamp in red silver and black wood effect dating from the 1950s/60s. The weighted base of the lamp is round and finished in red and black. The column is silver plated and at the top of the column is an adjustable arm that moves up and down the column. The socket is wood effect and the shade is red on the outside and white on the inside and can be adjusted up and down to redirect the light. The lamp operates with a black coloured flexible on/off switch and a 2 pin European plug and takes a large screw in bulb. The lamp is in good vintage condition with marks associated with a used item of its age, some of the paint is worn in places and there is some pitting to the metal fittings.
