Tureen Tureen Blue Ibis Gien

Imposing soup tureen or vegetable bowl in Gien blue earthenware, square blue or so-called 'ibis' model originally marketed around 1875 and reissued over the years by the earthenware factory in view of its success. Very good general condition, lid and tureen impeccable with the exception of a small chip on an internal edge, not visible at all on the outside. Floral blue pattern inspired by Rouen earthenware on a cream background. Soup diameter: 25.5 height approximately 24 cm. The matching hollow dish (30 cmx30cm) shown in one of the photos is the subject of another ad in my shop.
