Vintage polychrome fish jug – Zoomorphic carafe

Very pretty vintage jug in glazed earthenware of the barbotine type, depicting a fish with original shapes and full of charm. It features a beautiful relief decoration with its scales, pink fins, and large expressive eyes. Its delicate shades of soft green, cream, and pink give it a lot of softness. The fish's mouth forms the spout, while its curved tail serves as a pierced handle. A lovely decorative piece, in the spirit of old glug-glug carafes, ideal for adding an original touch to a kitchen, a shelf, or seaside decor. In general good condition, with no chips or cracks. There are slight signs of wear and fine enamel crazing due to age. Height: 19 cm. Diameter of the body at its widest: 13 cm. Weight: 700 g.
