Vintage Thonet rocking chair in chrome and rattan, 1970.

Superb Italian rocking chair in chrome and rattan in the style of Thonet's productions, 1970. This magnificent rocking chair is the ultimate design piece: between elegance and modernity, it has been crafted from a curved tubular metal structure in chrome, onto which a two-tone woven rattan seat is intricately woven, and solid stained beech armrests are attached. The lightweight chrome structure echoes the curved designs of Thonet's rocking chairs, originally made of wood. It is designed to ensure a harmonious rocking motion and provide unparalleled comfort. This design piece can easily complement a table, lamp, or Scandinavian sideboard. The rocking chair is in very good overall condition. The chrome is in good condition with slight signs of wear relative to its age; it has been cleaned and shines! The rattan is also in very good condition, making this a superb vintage rocking chair to snap up quickly!.
