1930s lamp

A few days ago, a lady called me to offer me a mirror and a lamp. I went to her house and as soon as I got home, I noticed this splendid lamp. I prayed very hard that this was the item she was offering me and bingo! Isn't it magnificent?! By email, I asked an auctioneer to date it. It seems to be from the 1930s. He couldn't tell me if it was glass or crystal (I'm also unsure). It is in very good condition (for its age) and works. It seems to have been hand engraved. It weighs 4.892 kg, is 56 cm high and 21 cm wide. The dancer is 7 cm high.
