Erik Ole Jorgensen J361 Lounge Chair for Bovirke Denmark 1954

Cool lounge chair designed by erik ole jorgensen in 1954 and manufactured by bovirke denmark. Originally the chair was designed to be submitted for a leather craftsmen competition in italy and put into production in 1955. It has a grey aluminum structure and still the original brown suede leather seating, which is fastened to the frame by 2 leather straps at the backside. The original headrest is with it. The chair gained a fantastic patina over time. Light weight chair and very comfortable seating. It is in good original condition with some normnal traces of use. No damages, no repairs. The leather straps at the backside are renewed.
