Two-door painted wardrobe, Louis XIV style, Alsatian regional work.

Painted wooden wardrobe, white in colour, opening with two large moulded doors decorated in the centre with an inlaid star. A beautifully crafted Alsatian piece, featuring a typical key assembly (see interior photos that allow for easy disassembly of the wardrobe). The beautiful mouldings are appreciated, with repetitive themes on both the central frame and the corner posts, panelled sides, a gendarme hat cornice, and flattened ball feet. Louis XIV style. There are signs of wear on the paint. Inside, there is a shelving arrangement, and it should be noted that the right side is ready to be converted into a hanging space. Work from the 20th century.
