This antique Indian wooden wheel, repainted, was used as a wheel for lifting loads, most often in Rajasthan for pulleys at the top of water wells in the desert, or as a chariot wheel for processions in India. It's not uncommon to find these antique wheels on other supports at merchants' stalls. A unique piece!
