Large vintage ceramic vase – blue floral decoration

A beautiful vintage piece that does not go unnoticed. 🤎 I particularly loved this large ceramic jug, with its tall and slender silhouette, for the contrast between its very textured grey-beige material and its large deep blue floral decoration. Its slightly irregular shape, wavy neck, and relief decoration give it all the character of a handcrafted piece. Originally featuring a handle at the back, it can now be repurposed as a large decorative vase. With its generous height, it looks particularly beautiful filled with pampas grass, dried branches, or a few large, graphic stems. It also works very well on its own as a sculptural object. I envision it equally well in a contemporary interior as among antique furniture: on a light wood entrance console, a sideboard, or a large table. The piece shows marks and irregularities visible in the photographs, particularly on the base and back. I have intentionally kept them: they are part of its history and character. Height: approximately 28 cm. Width: approximately 11 cm. Material: textured and glazed ceramic. Decoration: deep blue flower and foliage in relief. Marking: presence of an incised mark on the back, unidentified. Condition: vintage condition, signs of use and visible irregularities in the photos.
