Former general use brass

General use early XX th brass engraved in the Center. Form tray, it's most likely a former pencil case. Impossible to define what represents the fine engraving at the Center (opinions are shared!) The object is signed y. Vau? Weight 450g Oxidation stains are present (visible on the pictures) An another pocket of rectangular void signed by the same person is also for sale in my shop.
