Large gilded Napoleon III mirror – late 19th century – restored, new glass

Superb large mirror from the Napoléon III period, late 19th century, with rich rococo decoration. The finely carved wooden and stucco frame features abundant ornamentation of shells, scrolls, and foliage in the Louis XV style, typical of the Second Empire style. Its gilding perfectly highlights the depth of the reliefs and the finesse of the craftsmanship. The mirror has been fully restored: – Structure consolidated. – Gilding cleaned and retouched. – Glass completely replaced (new mirror) It is therefore in excellent condition, ready to be installed, while retaining its antique character. Its generous size and spectacular decoration make it a striking piece, ideal for an entrance, a living room, or above a fireplace. Dimensions: (87x67cm) Condition: restored, very good condition.
