A stunning 1960s danish oak and teak writing desk in the style of børge mogensen for søborg møbelfabrik. The two sets of suspended drawers which are cut into the desktop are held in place by four brass horizontal rods which are connected to each leg. The six drawers feature a small curved brass handle which help to pull each one open. The top drawer is lockable but sadly the keys are missing. The teak grain on the top of the desk has a wonderful deep golden patina with only some minor age related scratches. A beautiful well-made desk which i've had trouble sourcing its exact provenance or finding one similar. I'd love to know if you have any ideas. Perfect for a home office or commercial space.
