Scandinavian glass candlestick "ice glass" – Finnish design – 1960s

Pressed glass candle holder in Finnish style, made in the 1960s–70s. The glass features a pronounced "ice glass" texture, reminiscent of melted ice and frozen water. This type of work is emblematic of post-war Finnish design, particularly in the tradition of Tapio Wirkkala for Iittala. An object that is both sculptural and functional, designed to enhance the light of the flame. This candlestick is suitable for standard candles; its opening has a diameter of 2 cm and a depth of 2.5 cm. The candle holder is in very good condition.
