Self-portrait of the painter andré david born in the 19th century and died in the 20th century. Prix de rome, he liked to paint portraits of gypsies because he followed the circus artists on their journeys. His works were presented in the 1960s, in fontenay-aux-roses (paris), in a traveling gallery as well as “les gitans et philosophes” by andré david. Oil on canvas 32.5 X 25 cm.
