Rhytmic ceiling lamp by Milanda Havlová for Vest Leuchten

Beautiful original Rhytmic ceiling lamp, designed by Milanda Havlová for Vest Leuchten, Austria. This sculptural lamp is one of the most characteristic designs from Eastern European modernism of the seventies. Thanks to the layered plastic slats, a beautiful play of light and shadow is created, while the lamp shows a different silhouette from every angle. The design combines functionality with a pronounced architectural design. The lamp is in very neat vintage condition. All visible outer plastic slats are complete, undamaged and evenly coloured, with no significant discolouration. On the inside, two small plastic connecting slats are missing. This is not visible during normal use and from the outside, and has no noticeable effect on the strength or stability of the lamp. The construction is solid and fully functional. Originally, this model was designed as a ceiling lamp, but it can also be used excellently as a pendant lamp, as shown.
