He was a model sculptor, and son-in-law of georges caronési, the creator of an art terracotta workshop in the dordogne. From his studio came advertising objects, the famous ceramics dedicated to josephine baker and pieces for perigourdine pottery. Pol chambost worked in this workshop. The factory made advertising objects, and many pieces, some of which were intended for josephine baker as well as the périgordine pottery.
