4 old flying chairs with natural canning seat

Superb series of 4 old flying chairs with natural cannage seat (2 identical pairs) - french handicraft - early 20th century. Good original condition and robust despite some small cracks in the wood. Canning in very good original condition. We love the sophistication of their elegant and slender shape that contrasts with the hardiness and simplicity of their materials. The canning is beautiful, atypical and in superb condition. It is a french cannage with 6 wires 4mm wide, very widely opened which is unusual (you can easily pass the fingers). The assembly is "old-looking" wood. The front feet are beautifully arched. Straight chopstick-shaped ties connect each foot. Sobriety, fair proportions, balance of shapes and lightness, these flying chairs have, despite their apparent simplicity, nothing to envy to the style chairs.
