Antique glass bottle engraved and silver-plated metal – Gallia hallmark

Elegant antique clear glass bottle, richly acid-etched with scrolls and floral patterns, resting in a silver-plated mount with Art Nouveau decor of scrolls and stylised leaves. It comes with its original faceted cut glass stopper, numbered and perfectly fitted. The bottle is presented in a removable silver-plated mount, decorated with fluting and stylised cartouches. The mount bears the Gallia (rooster) hallmark, indicating production in silver plate. No named silversmith's mark is present; the manufacturer is not identified. French work from the late 19th or early 20th century, typical of the productions of the Belle Époque / late Art Nouveau period. -- Dimensions: Total height (with stopper): approx. 21 cm. Very good overall condition. Signs of use and micro-scratches on the silver plate. Glass in good condition, without cracks or chips. Original stopper present and functional. Careful shipping possible.
