Superb modernist Danish coffee table from around 1960, designed by the famous designer Arne Vodder (no label or marking on this piece but model referenced), manufactured and published by the renowned house Dyrlund. Made entirely of teak, it consists of a cabinet with two traversing drawers at the ends, defining an open niche, all resting on four tapered legs. The signature Vodder handles are butterfly-shaped, and it features an ingenious push-button ball system that allows the drawers to stop. The table measures 140 cm in length, 55 cm in width, and 54 cm in height. The drawers measure 27.5 cm in width, 48 cm in depth, and 5.5 cm in height. Finally, the niche measures 72 cm wide, 55 cm deep, and 7 cm high. In excellent condition with a beautiful patina (there are a few small scratches and a slight halo, see the last three photos of the top, without affecting the overall aesthetics), this very beautiful table, intended as a console to separate two spaces, can hold a lovely lamp and store your magazines and other remote controls. A rare product not to be missed!!!
