Terracotta farm vase pique flower XXL Folk Art 19th

Spectacular piece of raw terracotta country pottery. In the 19th century embers covered with ash were put there, and at nightfall, when the soup was ready, the stairs leading to the rooms were held by the handles to bake it under the comforter, between the rough sheets (linen? hemp?) of the beds of the farm. Obviously massive, powerful, very heavy piece, the terracotta of an extraordinary patina, now available for a life in the open air made of love of extra-ordinary pieces, fresh water and cut flowers! Total length 55cm x 25cm - it is oval. Central height 12cm. Center diameter 9cm. Really sublime.
