Beautiful wooden chest of drawers with a marble top. Restored and finished with a cool gray patina. The marble is intact, with no cracks or chips. It is not attached to the chest; it simply rests on the original green felt lining. Four drawers with original gilt decorations. The drawers slide smoothly and are not stuck. A small detail that makes all the difference: the drawers are all held in place by original wooden pegs. These pegs are removable and must be taken out to remove the drawers when needed. Molded legs.
