Vintage Brass Buddha Statue Sculpture Sitting Chiang Saen Style

Beautiful copper (brass) lion-type buddha, chiang saen style, lanna style (11th-18th century), thailand, second half of the 20th century. The “lion-type” buddha always sits with his legs fully crossed (vajrasana) and touches the earth with his right hand (bhumispashamudra). The face is rather round, the nose is pointed, the eyes are half closed, the curled hair falls into a point on the forehead and has the shape of a lotus bud on top of the head.
