Roger Capron coffee table – Shogun model – ceramic with floral decoration – signed. Elegant coffee table signed by Roger Capron, Shogun model, emblematic of the ceramist's work in Vallauris during the 1960s–70s. The top is made up of glazed ceramic tiles with stylised floral decoration, featuring the artist's typical warm tones. Each tile presents a unique pattern, forming a harmonious and decorative ensemble. The wooden structure has simple lines that highlight the ceramic work. The signature is present at the bottom left (see photo), attesting to the authenticity of the piece. A very beautiful piece of French design, sought after by collectors and enthusiasts of Vallauris ceramics. Condition: generally good, with slight patina of use consistent with age. (98x68x33cm).
