Vintage wicker basket

Large vintage wicker basket which certainly had a specific purpose. Two handles undoubtedly made it possible for two people to carry it. Initials were painted in black on each side of the basket (fb). Under the f we see that there was an a before which was erased to make room for the f. Certainly following an inheritance, a transmission, the son modified his father's initial with that of his first name. Unfortunately I don't know the story but there is one. You can use it for decoration and store all kinds of things, cushions, throws, blankets, children's toys. You choose. The basket is in its juice, bitten by worms and it has imperfections and irregularities which give it a charm that we never tire of. Total dimensions: Height with handles: 58cm. Width with handles: 70cm. Depth: 49cm. Interior dimensions of the basket alone: Height: 48cm. Bottom width: 51cm. Top width: 63cm. Bottom depth: 28cm. Top depth: 43cm.
