Orange wall lamps for Honsel Leuchten, Germany, 1970s, Set of 2

Mid-century orange wall lamp selected by Perriand for the arches of honsel leuchten, germany in the 70s. the lamp really comes into its own when you use a mirror bulb. This casts a soft light on the aluminium shell and the wall behind it. Its orange colour diffuses an atmospheric light. One is made entirely of aluminium and still bears its original label (honsel). On the other, the wall-mounting system has been modified.
