Handmade portrait painting in lead or charcoal in carved wooden frame

Superb portrait of a man probably made in charcoal or lead. We love the drawing as much as the thick carved wooden frame that gives all its splendor to the portrait. The back of the painting is closed by a sheet of craft paper. There had to be 2 screws and a string on either side of the frame in order to hang it. The wooden frame is in perfect condition for its age. Dimension: Height: 56 cm. Width: 38.5 cm. Thickness: 4 cm. Weight: 1400g.
