Catellani & Smith - Terra Wire Lamp - ø40cm Silver

Fil de fer is a lamp made of shaped and braided aluminum wire, lit internally by tiny bulbs. Designed and created by Enzo Catellani, it is the creation to which he is most attached. Born almost twenty years ago for a special order, it was not used for this project, and therefore remained suspended in his laboratory. Every time this lamp was seen lit, it managed to enchant its viewer with something special and magical. Enzo Catellani then decided to continue working there. This lamp was then put on the market, and became the most representative icon of Catellani & Smith production. Main light artistic confusion as a light source. Magnificent reflections of light.
