The saint-clément earthenware factory was created in 1758 by jacques chambrette, master earthenware maker, owner of an earthenware factory in lunéville. It was for tax reasons that he installed his second factory in saint-clément in french territory, which allowed him to pay 7 times less taxes compared to lunéville which was then the capital of lorraine. Very nice copy in remarkable condition dimension width 24 cm 9.5 inch oa2.2.
