Storage unit art deco style in burled satinwood

Beautiful storage cabinet/secretary/high art deco dresser in lemon magnifying glass veneer from the ceylon from the 40s/50s. The furniture is simple and elegant at the same time. The honey and lukewarm colour highlights the beautiful tiger motifs of the magnifying glass. The use of lemon wood was generally used for high quality pieces. At the time, the magnifying glass was used in the form of veneer sheet, marquetry by cabinetmakers who appreciated its richesse.la structure remains classic but the décor is asked with quality materials, in veneer (unlike the standard furniture often in solid walnut). The furniture is in very good original condition. It was partially restored to the singing level only (the 2 upper angles, above the key and on the right vocals) as there were veneer jumps and it was simply cleaned. There are traces of use and patina of time on the top and very slight signs of use on the body and feet. So I have of course encountered the dilemma of having the top veneer replaced and that of the songs, but it is extremely difficult to find the matching veneer, of this quality and would certainly have altered the continuity and color of the motif as well as its integrity of an authentic vintage product. The door works perfectly and has its original brass finish key that works. The 3 drawers also work (you can see the beautiful dovetail assembly work). Inside the top storage there is also an extra shelf. The handbuttons are silver metal with a central glass finish, some crackles of use (see photos). I took as many pictures as possible because depending on the angle you look at it or the brightness the colors change constantly. The room is solid and stable. Drawer size: 70 X 34, upper storage size l 75 X p 39 storage tablet size l 75 X p 37. Superb character piece, guaranteed effect for an entrance, living room, office or other.
