A distinctive, exceptionally substantial ceiling or wall light (flush mount/bulkhead fixture) dating from the turn of the 1950s and 1960s. Most likely manufactured by the Lighting Equipment Works in Wilków (later ZAOS), this piece is an excellent, authentic example of early post-war Polish industrial design. The lamp features an exceptionally solid, thick, and heavy base made of white glazed technical ceramic (electrical porcelain). The shade is crafted from traditional, thick milky-white opal glass, secured at the sides by original, classic metal screws. Its austere, clean form and authentic materials make it a perfect fit for vintage, industrial, and modern loft interiors. It is in very good condition for its age: there are no cracks in the ceramic, the glass is intact, and the fixture is complete. Dimensions: Base diameter: 22 cm. Height (depth): 7 cm.
