Antique bronze mirror with bird and flower decoration – Art Nouveau / early 20th century. Very pretty antique rectangular mirror in patinated bronze, entirely adorned with a rich relief decoration inspired by nature. The frame features a particularly intricate composition of flowering branches, foliage, fruits, and birds, developing all around the glass. The irregular, almost mineral background and the different levels of relief give a lot of depth to the whole piece. The old patina blends brown, golden hues, and some discreet traces of verdigris, which naturally highlight the motifs. A decorative model characteristic of the Art Nouveau / naturalistic taste of the early 20th century, which can be placed among a collection of antique objects or hung on the wall thanks to its system at the back. Dimensions: approximately 28 × 20 cm. (comparable documented model in these dimensions) Material: patinated bronze. Decoration: birds, flowers, foliage, and fruits in relief. Estimated period: early 20th century. Condition: good antique condition. Patina, oxidations, and signs of time are visible and intentionally preserved.
