Fat lava blue vase

Pretty little earthenware vase glazed with the so-called "fat lava" technique (1960s) which creates a foamy or cracked texture above a colored surface, here a beautiful bright blue. Free-form curves but well balanced, with 2 holes to create handles. It will give a touch of authentic and unique design to your decor. Mention "Le bois plage" at the bottom, referring to the seaside resort of the Ile de Ré, it was probably sold at the time as a souvenir. Dimensions: H 19 cm, W 12 cm. The egg is there to give you the scale.
