Set of 4 oak ladderback dining chairs with rush seats

This set of four ladderback dining chairs was made about 50 years ago, probably in France. The gracefully carved slats, turned finials on the back legs and rush seats give the chairs a rustic, timeless elegance. Years of use have given the oak a lovely patina that enhances the character and authenticity of the chairs. They fit perfectly in a country kitchen, a cosy dining room or an eclectic interior, and combine effortlessly with both antique and modern tables.
