Shepherd and Hedger Art Deco Buffet

Buffet of the shepherd and hedger company of southampton, england, from the 30s. Shepherd and hedger equipped, among other things, the transatlantics of the cunard line. This piece of furniture, in art deco style, also borrows from the neo-classical style with its handles with acanthus leaf patterns and with its feet "melon bulbs". The doors have a triangle marquetry backgammon way. Behind the doors, different storage including 3 drawers with golden handles, the top drawers is divided into several compartments and is trimmed with felt. Excellent state of general preservation, note all the same discreet shades of coloring and discoloration on the doors (see photos).
