Solid wood buffet, probably elm, dating from the 1970s, in the style of productions by Maison Regain and Pierre Chapo. A particularly well-designed piece, with robust and warm lines characteristic of French furniture from the 70s. The front features beautiful cabinetry work, with panelled doors and handles directly sculpted from the wood. The upper part conceals a retractable top mounted on a pivot, which slides and then pivots about 30° to form a genuine serving surface. Once closed, the mechanism completely disappears into the furniture. An open niche allows for the storage of bottles, glasses, books, or hi-fi equipment. The lower part offers significant storage space behind two doors, with an adjustable height internal shelf. In very good overall condition, with discreet signs of use consistent with its age. Beautiful honey patina and marked wood grain. Dimensions: H87 X W113 X D53. Attribution to Maison Regain not certified: the piece does not bear a stamp. Vintage French furniture from the 1970s, ideal as a bar cabinet, buffet, hi-fi unit, or storage furniture.
