Canapé Michel Ducaroy model "Marsala" edition Ligne Roset 1970. 1 sofa for 2 / 3 people. Created by Michel Ducaroy in 1970. Pure seventies. Michel Ducaroy dedicated 26 years of his life to leading the design department at Ligne Roset. The Marsala is one of his first models from the 60s-70s, using the new materials of the time. Structure in the shape of a shell made of smoked methacrylate or altuglass. In velvet. Velvet in interior decoration is a noble material. It is a fabric that varies in colour. Velvet is very difficult to photograph. A timeless classic, always in trend, that gives a chic and refined atmosphere to your interior decor. Colour: old rose - mauve - lilac - plum - amethyst. The exact name is "Prune Briord." A rare colour in this model and extremely elegant, and particularly trendy. A colour that is easy to live with and easy to accessorise. This colour combined with the fabric brings a lot of warmth and softness to the room, as well as a great deal of character. The signature can be found in various places. Signs of use consistent with its age and usage: scratches on the structure, wear and discolouration on the seats, obviously more pronounced where the head rests. No tears, no major damage to report. The sofa is 50 years old, so all these marks are normal. In a room with soft, diffused light, the signs of wear will be less noticeable. Vintage. Authentically vintage.
