Olive wood catchall Monoxyle brutalist vintage 50s-60s handcrafted

Very beautiful vintage ashtray from the 50s-60s, in a brutalist/organic style, made of solid, monoxyle wood, sculpted and hollowed from a single piece of wood. Probably olive wood. Glossy varnish finish perfectly highlighting the material and the movements of the wood. An object that is both decorative and functional, which can serve as an ashtray, bowl, nut dish, or sculptural piece, with a strong presence and character, in the spirit of brutalism and wabi-sabi. Approximately 23 cm maximum diameter, maximum height 8.5 cm. Very good overall condition. There is a natural crack/fissure on one side, non-through and not reaching the bottom, stable and discreet, in keeping with the material's taste and logic, without compromising the integrity of the piece. Approximately 700-800g.
