A pair of stackable side stools with a strong geometric design, representative of the Space Age and Mid-Century Modern styles of the 1970s. Their clever structure made of chrome-plated steel allows for easy nesting, optimising space in daily use. The generously sized square seats (46 × 46 cm) are upholstered in a cognac brown faux leather, which is both warm and easy to maintain. True chameleons of interior decoration, these stools will naturally fit around a coffee table, as end tables, nesting tables, bedside tables, or as additional seating. Detailed condition. In satisfactory vintage condition with lovely signs of wear that attest to their authenticity: Seats: The faux leather shows a beautiful original patina. Note a tear on one of the corners (clearly visible in the detail photo) as well as discreet surface wear. Chrome structures: The chrome retains a very nice overall shine but has localized oxidation spots and signs of use. Finishing detail: A small cap/end piece is missing from the top of one of the vertical supports (visible in the photos). Under-seats: The original wooden panel bases under the seats are solid and in good condition.
