Set of 6 vintage asparagus or shell plates from the 1950s in MBFA Pornic earthenware, very emblematic of pop culture in their orange, black, yellow, and grey colours. MBFA stands for the Breton manufacture of artistic earthenware established in 1947, with its first creations being truly artistic, inspired by Bernard Serraz, a graduate of the École des Arts Décoratifs in Paris, and Paul Urfer, a professional ceramist recruited as a designer of decorations. These 6 relief plates are in very good condition despite a small chip on the edge of 2 plates.
